Growing Up

I used to be a good girl,

Always doing what I'm told.

But very soon I found,

That being good gets old.

I want to let my hair down.

I want to have some fun.

And don't try to stop me,

'Cuz you and I both know,

I'm not the only one.

I'm sick of being pretty,

Of being prim and proper.

If a girl wants some fun,

Why try and stop her?

I want to be free.

I want to be bad.

Give my best wishes to dad.

Tell him his little girl,

Is becoming all grown up,

And living out her life,

Just the way she wants.
